Why this trip exists
Africa shouldn't feel out of reach.
I created Reclaiming Our Identity Travel because Africa should not feel like a dream reserved for people with a big budget. After traveling throughout the continent and living in Rwanda, I know firsthand how powerful it is to connect with its people, history, and culture.
Too many people have wanted to go for years but keep putting it off because planning feels overwhelming or other travel agencies make it too expensive. That is exactly why I keep our trips more affordable.
My goal is intentional: to help more people experience the continent, not to price them out of it. We handle the details so you can focus on the journey—learning, connecting, and coming home with memories that stay with you.
The Journey
Two cities, one story of return.
Step into the heartbeat of South Africa. From Johannesburg's powerful history and vibrant culture to Cape Town's breathtaking coastline and heritage landmarks, every day is built around meaningful connection — not a checklist of sights.
You'll walk through Soweto, stand where history was made at Robben Island, ride the Table Mountain cableway, and share welcome and farewell dinners with a group who came for the same reason you did.
